Twitter is a weird place. It let’s you in on just about everything anyone is doing at any time. Now, with SO much information going out to the interweb, it’s difficult to figure out what is real, and what is a really great marketing ploy devised by the minds of a good promoter.
AMP Radio fav, Far East Movement, has been tweeting a lot lately about an alleged movement that is anti-Dirty Bass lead by an organization called B.L.O.W that supposedly has a vendetta against the group. We sense something strange here but we are SO intrigued.
So check out these tweets:
We're BLOW – Ban Low-frequency Oscillating Woofers an organization dedicated to the elimination of prominent low-end frequencies in music.—

According to their website, B.L.O.W stands for Ban Low-frequency Oscillating Woofers.
The website states:
“We are concomitantly concerned with all of the abuses of bass frequencies pervasive in the various forms of current dance, hip hop, pop, electro and dub step music but since the musicians of Far East Movement draw from all of these forms in order to create what they boldly call their “Dirty Bass” sound, we are focusing our current efforts on their forthcoming “Dirty Bass” album in our overall goal to Ban Low-frequency Oscillating Woofers. “
Alright guys, fess up already. The timing is just too perfect. But we are dying to know WHAT this rally will really be? Perhaps a music video shoot?
Oh internet, we love you so.
