[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lil Wayne[/lastfm] had previously said that he was more focused on getting his artists new albums out than his own. But with 2012 just about in full swing and his roster preparing to unleash a plethora of Young Money albums on the world, Lil Wayne can return to his own work.

So in addition to [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Tyga[/lastfm]’s February 21st date for Careless World: Rise of the Last King, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bow Wow[/lastfm] releasing his 7th album Underrated on March 13th and  [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm]’s new April release date for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, you can hope to see a new Weezy album entitled I Am Not A Human Being 2 on the shelves sometime this summer according to YMCMB CEO, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Birdman[/lastfm].

“Wayne’s got an album he’s about to drop real soon. Its called I Am Not a Human Being 2. It’s gonna be before the summer for sure. We haven’t picked the date yet,” he said. “Whenever he’s ready to drop his album, we’re gonna make it do what it do. He’s definitely got an album done and ready to go. Wayne works a lot. There’s no telling [if Rebirth 2 will happen]. But I know for sure we’ve got I Am Not a Human Being 2 ready to go. That’s the next project.”

It seems the Super Bowl half-time show just keeps getting bigger and better. Just days ago, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]will.i.am[/lastfm] revealed that “his group” [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]LMFAO[/lastfm] would be performing during the show with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Madonna[/lastfm].

“I’m going to the Super Bowl this year to see my group LMFAO perform with Madonna,” said the [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Black Eyed Peas[/lastfm] lead rapper to Capital FM. “Check that out, Will.i.am Music Group is pretty freaking two for two! One year the Super Bowl, the next year another group part of the Super Bowl in collaboration with Madonna. That’s still happening.”

Before this, the only other performers linked to the Super Bowl show by Madonna were [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]M.I.A.[/lastfm] who were rumored to be joining the pop veteran for a live rendition of their new song together ” Give Me All Your Love.”

There have also been rumors on the web about [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Cee-Lo Green[/lastfm] joining Madonna for her performance. We’re starting to think that Madonna may have gone in over her head. She said herself, the performance has very strict time constraints, “I have eight minutes to set up my stage, 12 minutes to put on the greatest show on earth, and I have seven minutes to take it down so that football field is clean for the second half of the game,” she told ABC News about the performance. “That’s the challenge. How do you do that? I actually wanted to have 100 drummers come from the ceiling, a drum line from the ceiling” she said but noted that it most likely wouldn’t be possible.

Now it looks like she has 12 minutes but a whole lot of performers to fit in…with their own songs.

Who knows what will really go down? Tune in February 5th. We’ll be watching.

[photogallerylink id=104755 align=right][lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bruno Mars[/lastfm] can’t stop winning! After cleaning up at the Grammy Nomination announcement and concert, the Hawaiian-bred crooner also made waves by not only topping the digital singles list but also had the most songs in the top 10.

His huge smash “Just The Way You Are” topped the digital sales list according to International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) with an impressive 12.5 million copies sold worldwide. But that’s just the beginning. His song “Grenade” made the No. 2 spot with 10.2 million sales worldwide.

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]LMFAO[/lastfm]’s breakout hit “Party Rock Anthem” shuffles in at No. 3 while [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jennifer Lopez[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Pitbull[/lastfm]’s dance record “On The Floor” comes in at No 4. and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Adele[/lastfm] (never too far from an accolade) rounds out the top 5 with “Rolling in the Deep.”

Besides holding the first two spots of this list, Bruno Mars also has the last say on it because his playful jam “The Lazy Song” stand at No. 10 on the list as well.

2011 was one heck of year for Bruno Mars. Let’s hope he can keep it going into 2012, where he is up for (count ’em!) six Grammy trophies!
