Every Food Truck Friday, we usually are feasting on some decadent treat, which is of course delicious, but not always the best for our waistlines.
Well, we would’ve never believed it, but there is a truck out there that’s serving up some nom-worthy eats in a totally healthy way!
Who was able to accomplish this feat? The amazing crew from Green Truck!
Green Truck is one of the veterans of the food truck craze here in LA. The company was founded back in 2005 and now has a whopping 7 trucks rolling around SoCal.
But that’s not all…they’ve also expanded to include trucks in both San Diego and New York City.
As you can probably guess by its name, Green Truck is devoted to healthy dishes, many of which are vegetarian and vegan-friendly.
We know some people get intimidated when they hear the word vegan, but Green Truck takes it to the next level with sliders, pita wraps, tacos, and salads bursting with flavor.
You’re getting only the freshest of feasts because all the ingredients are either local, organic, sustainably raised, or vegan.
And it’s not just the food that’s green.
The truck is powered by the vegetable oil they used to cook everything, all the packaging and utensils are either recyclable or compostable, and the kitchen uses solar power.
