[photogallerylink id=138479 align=left]Toronto born rapper, Aubrey “Drake” Graham is riding high on his way to this year’s Grammy Awards. The Young Money headliner has just broken the record for the most number one songs by or featuring a hip hop artist.
So many people thought that this honor would go to Eminem, who remains one of the best selling hip hop artists of all time (2 Diamond records and 4 of the remaining 5 albums are certified at least Double Platinum).
But once Drake’s Nicki Minaj assisted track “Make Me Proud” hit the airwaves on SNL back in October of 2011, the wheels just kept it rolling all the way to number one. You are likely familiar with some of Drizzy’s other Number Ones: “Fancy,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Aston Martin Music,” “Headlines,” “Over”… obviously we could go on.
Currently there is no talk of a video for his latest number one single but has been quoted saying that many of the songs from his latest album, Take Care “deserve visuals.”
