[photogallerylink id=139388 align=right]How much would you pay to hear Beyonce tell aspiring singers and entertainers that they have that something special, that X Factor?
Well if you’re Simon Cowell and the other producers over at the “X Factor,” you’d be willing to pay $100 million. Except that’s not quite true.
The New York Post reported that the producers of the talent show were looking to add some star power to their judges panel and while there have been talks to get [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mariah Carey[/lastfm] involved, there is a general consensus that Beyonce would draw a bigger audience.
If she takes the alleged offer of $100 million dollars, she’d have the highest salary on all of TV. Wow.
After Simon Cowell got word that the internet had decided Beyonce deserved 100 million dollars to do his show, he spoke out about the rumor. “No. I have no idea where this rumor came from. I read it online that I offered [Beyonce] $100 million a year. It’s complete nonsense,” he assured reporters, noting that the entire show budget was $100 million, “The budget for the show is $100 million. No one’s gonna pay $100 million for someone … It would never, ever, ever happen. It’s absolute nonsense.”
Sources say, however, that Beyonce wants to take off the next few years to get more acquainted with her new baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter. Simon echoed the sentiment saying “You can’t expect someone who’s just had two kids to make the kind of commitment you would need on this show,” he said in reference to Mariah Carey, who was also rumored to do the show, which he coyly shot down.
But when Katy Perry was mentioned, Cowell didn’t turn down the idea, in fact he said “She’d be fun, because she is… hot… in a good way,” he joked. “And she is feisty.”
We can’t wait to see who fills in where [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Paula Abdul[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Nicole Scherzinger[/lastfm] left off.

[photogallerylink id=144305 align=left]The show starts in May in Tel Aviv, Israel (a noble beginning for Madge, who converted to Kabbalah in 1997) and makes stops in stadiums, arenas, and outdoor sites throughout the Middle East and Europe, including Paris, Barcelona, and Abu Dhabi, before making her way stateside.
