[photogallerylink id=144358 align=right]Little Miss Katy Perry is on the rebound with some new and familiar tunes for your listening pleasure. Her smash 2010 release Teenage Dream has been so very good to Katy. Producing 6 number one hits now that her latest “The One That Got Away” finally crept all the way up the charts and breaking [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Michael Jackson[/lastfm]’s Bad record (no big).
So it’s been hard for her to let go of even the songs that didn’t make the final ct of the album. Luckily she didn’t have to let go of them for long because she is bringing them to the light with her new album Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection. This anthology of teenage dreaming will feature the 12 original tracks from the album as well as three brand new, never-before-heard songs.
Her producer, Tricky Stewart, clued us in to the fact that Katy was reworking some songs that never made it as well as remixing ones we already knew. Confection will also include “E.T.” with Kanye West and “T.G.I.F” with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Missy Elliot[/lastfm]. “This is the complete story of ‘Teenage Dream,” Perry said in a statement. “It was an incredible honor to tie the King of Pop’s Billboard Hot 100 record, but I’m moving forward and had a few things left to get off my chest. So this is the complete special edition of my album for my fans.”
Katy Perry will release Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection on March 27th.
