Producer Angie was a huge fan of all the powerhouse female singers.

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Alicia Keys[/lastfm] did a great [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Etta James[/lastfm] tribute with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bonnie Raitt[/lastfm], Kelly Clarkson held her own in a duet with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jason Aldean[/lastfm], and Jennifer Hudson brought the house down with her rendition of “I Will Always Love You” in honor of Whitney Houston.

In terms of a full-scale entertainment, both Carson and Angie were digging Chris Brown. Lip syncing aside, all the choreography and light effects were pretty darn sweet.

But let’s be honest, not everybody could be perfect and Nicki Minaj came up on the short end of the stick this time.

Her exorcism performance seemed out of place in light of Whitney Houston’s tragic death and as a whole, it was just too over the top.
