[photogallerylink id=143974 align=left]Adam Levine is a mentor on The Voice, but who would he choose to mentor him? He says one guy has been so influential on him – Paul McCartney. Adam says even though they’ve been in the same room he still has never met him.
Adam Levine is easily lovable as a coach on The Voice. In general, he’s lovable no matter the setting. But the point is, it’s clear that he has not only the talent to make his own star shine, but the ability to see and develop it in others. He proved this as the coach of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Javier Colon[/lastfm], who won season one of the singing competition.
But when he was asked who he’d like to be mentored by, he picked a legend. “To mentor me? You know, [one] guy that I haven’t met, who was so hugely influential to me was Paul McCartney,” Adam said. “I’m such a huge Paul McCartney fan.”
He admitted that even though he’d been in the same room with McCartney many times before he’d never met him because it hadn’t happened naturally. “I’ve been in the same room with him many times,” he said. “I think mostly because we just haven’t crossed paths and it never naturally happened, but someday I’d love to meet him.”
Personally, we’d like Beyonce to show us all her moves (but that’s a whole new blog!).
But in general, we say: Man up, Levine! If you want to meet Paul, then meet him! No day like the present. You are missing out on valuable mentor time here.
