Now that we’re into the second week of the battle rounds, The Voice is officially getting serious.
Each coach has to make the tough decision, who will represent them in the live shows?
Last week’s episode was super intense, so we’re on the edge of our seats waiting for tonight’s action-packed show.
Luckily, every Monday we get an exclusive preview of what to expect from the show’s host himself, Carson Daly!
During today’s morning show, Carson highlighted 2 important battles he’s looking forward to this evening.
First up, he took a look at Kim Yarbrough vs. Whitney Myer. It’s shaping up to be an intriguing battle, with Kim’s powerhouse belt and Whitney’s soulful appeal.
The 2 women couldn’t be more different, but nevertheless, coach Adam Levine arranged for them to face off to Mary J. Blige’s “No More Drama.”

Carson also raved about the battle between Jamar Rogers and Jamie Lono from Team Cee Lo.
Both Jamar and Jamie won us over not only with their unique voices, but with their incredible life stories as well.
When Carson surprised recovering addict Jamar with a blind audition a few weeks ago, he found Jamar volunteering for a Meals on Wheels type of organization called God’s Love We Deliver. As for Jamie, we fell in love as soon as he described his life as a struggling Chicago sandwich artist trying to get his big break.
We’re already dreading the fact that one of them will go home tonight! But that’s what happens during the battle rounds.
For this match up, Cee Lo gave them a real challenge…Foreigner’s“I Want To Know What Love Is.”
Check out a preview of their duet here!
