Katy Perry To Perform At Kids’ Choice Awards-
In addition to being a clear fan favorite and highly nominated individual in the 25th Annual Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, Katy Perry will also be performing in the show.
The show is scheduled to take place at USC’s Galen Center on March 31st, only 4 days after the release of Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, which is a beefed up version of her 2010 release Teenage Dream.
She will be among some serious A-Listers, including host Will Smith, actors Emma Stone, Zac Efron and entertainers Big Time Rush, One Direction and Cee Lo Green will all be among promoters.
She’s up for a slew of awards. Most notably her hit “Firework” is up for Favorite Song. Fans will be able to vote on the KCA website, Facebook, and new this year on Twitter, using a special hashtag (how very 2012 of them!).

Ludacris’s 8th Studio Album Gets Release Date-
You can mark your calendar for this one! After putting in some overtime as of late on his upcoming project, Atlanta-rapper Ludacris has announced that he will release his new album on his birthday: September 11th.
After the release of his mixtape 1.21 Gigawatts (Back To the First Time), Luda has promised that this new album will appeal to his core fan base and will be reminiscent of Luda’s earlier albums.
You can expect the first single , produced by currently fire-hot duo Da Internz, in just a couple weeks.

Nicki Minaj Covers April Issue of Allure-
Barbz, you are going to want to grab the April issue of Allure magazine. Her Minajesty, Nicki Minaj will be on the cover donning one of her pinkest wigs. Inside she goes into more detail about her love of hairstyling.
In the feature she talks about how her hair past started around 9 years old, “I was doing every — and anything to it — putting in wads of gel and brushing it to the next century, and just thinking I was so cute,” she said. “I always thought I had an eye for that stuff.”
From there her obsession evolved and she began to like the idea of new and frequent hairstyles, which she says allows you to reinvent yourself. She recalled the incident that made her re-think the power of follicles “I had done something I thought was really, really, really cute, and I showed my neighbor,” she said. “She was like, ‘Why’d you do that to your hair?’ And I never forget what I said: ‘I’m someone new in this hair.’”
With a Swagger like that, it’s no surprise that Nicki stays on the rise. She just broke a major record in the UK, becoming the highest charting female rapper in the history of their charts.
Pink Friday is poised to help Minaj break some records over here in these United States, Roman Reloaded to be released on April 3rd.
