Beyonce To Star In Upcoming Eastwood Film-
Let’s go to the movies! Beyonce is heading back to the big screen for the first time since she starred in the 2009 thriller “Obsessed,” with leading man Idris Elba. This time she’ll be flanked by two Hollywood icons with Tom Cruise as her co-star and Clint Eastwood as the director.
The musical “A Star is Born” is an old movie in itself, dating back to the 1930’s and has already been reworked twice. Once with Judy Garland as the lead and the other in 1976 and featured Barbara Streisand, so Beyonce has some huge shoes to fill. We think the new mom can hold her own as she proved in “Dreamgirls.”
The story is about an aging, alcoholic musician, played by Cruise, who mentors and falls in love with a younger star in the making, who will be played by Beyonce.
Production is slated to start later this year.
Bruno Mars 10th Man in History To Cover Playboy-
When you normally think about Playboy magazine, it’s unlikely that you would link names to it like Seth Rogan, Leslie Neilson, Donald Trump or Steve Martin, unless of course they maybe visited the infamous Grotto once or twice. But in truth, all the men named above have had the distinct privilege of gracing the cover of Playboy.
And now you can add Bruno Mars to that list, as the Hawiian crooner will be on the April issue, which is entitled “Sex and Music.” Yeah, Bruno fits the bill. He’s also only the 10th man to get to be on the cover which is normally reserved for female celebrities that want to make the leap and the Bunnies of the month.
Inside he get’s real with the Playboy reporter and talks about the music: his influences, who he most wants to work with and more.
He cites his father’s love for the doo-wop era that led him to find his music and style idols in greats like James Brown and The Temptations
“Growing up in the showbiz world, I looked up to those guys: Frank Sinatra and of course Elvis Presley,” he said “My dad was into the 1950s doo-wop era. If you look at those groups, or at James Brown, Jackie Wilson and the Temptations in the 1960s, you’ll see you had to be sharp onstage.”
You can pick up the Bruno Issue of Playboy on Friday (March 16th.)!
Kanye West Featured In Addictive New Video Game-
If you are familiar with Kanye West’s and Jay-Z’s hot single “Paris” then you know the breakdown at the end of their song:
“Don’t let me into my zone/don’t let me into my zone/ I’m definitely in my zone (zone, zone)/”
This is exactly the idea Kanye Zone, the game is built on. You have to keep Kanye out of his zone, in turn gaining money and knocking out Kanye heads left and right. And what it lacks in graphics, it more than makes up for in accessibility and user-friendliness.
Basically this game is highly addictive so if you start playing at work, you just won’t stop! Oh and if you make the mistake of letting Kanye into his zone, just wait and see who shows up!
