Doctors say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so Carson and all of us on the morning show make sure to get our fill every Friday morning during our favorite segment of the week, Food Truck Friday.
For some of us, it’s important to eat those quintessential breakfast foods like cereal and eggs, but for others, we just like to roll out of bed and scarf down a slice of yesterday’s pizza!

It all started when Aarti moved here from Manhattan to get her MBA at UCLA.
One of her favorite snack places in NYC was this hole in the wall restaurant called Pomme Frites. They served up French fries with all these different sauces and it was the perfect place to load up on carbs during stressful study sessions.
Once she found her way to LA, she realized there weren’t any restaurants like it out here.
That took place right around when the food truck craze really started to take off, so she thought her idea would be perfect to put on wheels.
Going along with the Belgian street food theme, she added Liege waffles to the menu to give her foodie fans even more sweet and savory options.
Liege is a special type of Belgian waffle that you don’t normally find here in the States. What sets the Liege waffles apart from your average Eggo is the rich, sweet dough that Crispy Waffle & Frite whips up fresh every morning. It’s crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside!
Congrats to today’s winner, they scored a free lunch for all their co-workers!
