This Sunday, get ready to run because the 27th annual L.A. Marathon is going down rain or shine!
Thousands of hardcore athletes will be taking on a grueling 26.2 mile route and even though the weather’s looking a bit frightful, organizers don’t seem to be shaking in their boots.
Carson called up L.A. Marathon CEO Nick Curl to get the lowdown on this weekend’s main event and how it will impact all of us trying to get around town!
The race begins at L.A.’s iconic Dodger Stadium and concludes at the intersection of Ocean Avenue & California Avenue in Santa Monica.
During the 26.2 mile workout, runners will pass by several famous landmarks, including Downtown L.A., Hollywood Boulevard, the Sunset Strip, and Rodeo Drive.
If you know someone running in Sunday’s race, you can register on LAMarathon.com for their Running Tracker. It will update you in real-time when they reach certain milestones. You can even choose how you’d like to receive those updates – via text, email, Facebook, or Twitter.
