“The Voice” Precap: Carson Daly Gives Us A Preview Of Tonight’s Live Show!

After weeks of blind auditions and battle rounds, the wait is finally over!

The live shows begin tonight on The Voice and our morning show guru Carson spilled the beans about what we can expect to see on the action-packed episode.

Each coach has narrowed down their teams to 6 contestants and now 12 of the lucky finalists will sing live to stay in the competition.

And that’s not all, Gym Class Heroes will also be performing!

'The Voice' Precap 4.2.12

Tonight, Team Blake Shelton and Team Christina Aguilera take the stage, so you’ll get to see crowd favorites like Charlotte Sometimes, Jesse Campbell, Lindsey Pavao, and many more.

Carson even gave us the deets on Lindsey’s song choice. She’s known for putting her own spin on pop songs and tonight is no different. Word on the street is she’s doing a dubstep cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know!”

You’ll notice a big difference between tonight’s performances and the blind auditions. All the performances are getting kicked up a notch with pyrotechnics, stilt walkers, and other crazy surprises.

Clearly, tonight is must-see TV. Catch the first live episode of The Voice tonight at 8pm PT on NBC and tune in tomorrow morning to hear Carson’s full recap!
