Pizza for breakfast!
Yup, that’s how we roll here at AMP Radio.
The crew from SliceTruck was kind enough to stop by today and explain why they make the best pizza in town:
When it comes to pizza, there’s a huge debate about who has the best style…Chicago or New York.
SliceTruck owners Chris and David were born and raised in Chicago, but they also lived in NYC for 10 years, so they’ve wisely chosen to stay out of the fray. What matters most to them is making high-end, delicious pizza.
To achieve this, it’s all about the ingredients.
SliceTruck uses quality ingredients like San Marzano Tomatoes imported from Italy, Kamut organic wheat, Authentic Parmesan Reggiano, whole milk mozzarella, and extra virgin olive oil.
Whenever possible, they use meat from animals raised without antibiotics or added hormones and it is not treated with any preservatives or nitrates. Even the cheese is made with dairy from cows that are raised without the use of synthetic hormones.
All of these elements add up to one savory meal with crust that’s perfectly doughy and crispy at the same time…yeah, we didn’t think that was possible either!
