It was a jam-packed morning, what with our marathon European vacation contest, but there’s always enough time for our favorite segment of the week…Food Truck Friday!

Carson had worked up quite an appetite and The Lobos Truck made it their mission to satisfy his hunger.

They describe their grub as “comfort food with a conscience” and they certainly delivered on that promise.

Amy & Kelly from The Lobos Truck stepped up to the mic this morning to explain what they’re all about:

Most people with a food truck dream of one day opening up a full-on restaurant, but The Lobos Truck actually started as Little Lobos, a small cafe in Beverly Hills.

Once the food truck craze took off, they decided to expand with a truck of their own and 2 months ago, The Lobos Truck finally launched!

Just looking at the menu, your mouth will start to water.

Kelly describes the food as having a Southern influence with some California hipness.

Picture this: a burger with waffles as the buns, brownies with bacon, and buffalo wings doused in diablo sauce…we’ve died and gone to food heaven!

And The Lobos Truck doesn’t skimp on the ingredients either. Whenever possible, they buy organic, local, and humanely-treated produce and meat.

As is Food Truck Friday tradition, Carson gifted one of our listeners with a free office lunch from The Lobos Truck. Congrats to today’s lucky winner!
