It’s time for another round of Local Flavor.

We’ve sent you to Burbank, San Fernando Valley, Pasadena and now it’s time to browse the awesomeness that is Glendora.

Whether it’s chowing down on some fresh made donuts, browsing the shops of downtown, or stopping on for one of 61 different types of micro brews on tap, Glendora’s got you covered.

And feel free to add your own fav locations in the comments section. If we missed something, we need to know here people!

Eat:
If you’re in Glendora and you have a sweet tooth at any time of the day, then Donut Man is right up your alley. It’s located off of the famous Route 66 and you can’t miss it due to the line of college students out front.

Donut Man is open 24/7. And everything is made fresh. They are known for their larger than life Tiger Tails, so be sure to try that one first.

They only accept cash, so be prepared! Plus, their prices are very reasonable. It’s a great spot to start your morning or as a late night snack coming back from your favorite pub.

Drink:
When it comes to getting your drink on, the locals go to their favorite watering hole called T-Phillips located in the older part of Glendora, where the streets look like a scene out of the film “Pleasantville”. They offer 61 different micro brews on tap as well as a full bar and a wide selection of fine wines.

They also provide live music every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday night. While you enjoy your favorite brew, you can also order from the menu that is known for their bacon cheeseburgers. It’s a pretty chill place to hang out with your friends and it’s family friendly earlier in the night.

Shop:
Downtown Glendora is a cool spot to just park your car and walk around in the mom and pop shops that you don’t really see too often anymore. You’ll find everything from Pet Stores, cafes, and a place called Village Book Shop.

If you’re a book worm at heart, this place is very cool to check out. It’s been around since the mid-1950s and carries local authors, local history, and local interest books. It also has become a cultural center for the city of Glendora with its varied activities that include book-signings, theater presentations, and workshops. It has the old fashion feel to it and the owners are really nice.
