Nicki Minaj Disconnects From Twitter-
Nicki Minaj has always been known as someone who stands up for her fans. She is one of the most engaging celebrities on social network sites like Twitter, where she would regularly conduct impromptu press conferences and take questions from her Barbz. So when she withdrew from Twitter for good on Sunday, deleting her account, the internet was shocked!
Apparently, the Harajuku Barb had been getting hassled by a few of her followers and finally enough was enough. She indicated she was leaving a day before she inevitably pulled the plug on her Twitter.
“And that’s exactly why I’m paying the barbz DUST right now! And deleting my twitter. Smdh – don’t cry 4 me argentina,” she wrote.
“On 2nd thought I’ll just follow a new set of barbz. The ones I follow r very mean and ratchet.*side eyes them*”
Reports point to one of her fan sites, Nicki Daily, leaking one of her songs, which seemed to push the Jamaica Queens native over the edge. After blocking @NickiDaily and essentially shutting down the site, which now redirects to Nicki-Minaj.org, Nicki tweeted her last tweet and said goodbye to Twitter.
“Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f**king bye,”she tweeted.
Within an hour, the hashtag, #NickiComeBack, starting trending but to no avail.
So far, it doesn’t look like Nicki is coming back anytime soon.

AMP will keep you posted on her (likely) return to the Twitterverse!
Flo Rida Ordered To Pay For Missing Show-
Flo Rida has been flying high lately with his latest dance-hop single “Wild Ones.” Before that he was blowing up our airwaves with hits like “Right Round” and “Club Can’t Handle Me,” but when he was supposed to make his way across the world to showcase his hits in Australia, the Florida rapper bailed last minute.
And now we bet he’s feeling pretty “Low” after a judge ordered that he pay the promoter just over $80,000 for performance fees and damages.
According to the case, the promoter shelled out a whopping $50K to the rapper before hand to ensure his performance. Flo allegedly had a “hissy fit” backstage before ultimately deciding he would not perform.
An Australian judge failed to see how that should affect his ability to perform and ruled in favor of the plaintiff.
The moral of the story is: Follow though on your commitments or an Australian judge will make you pay it all back and some!
…Or something like that.
Rihanna to Perform on SNL in May-
Rihanna has found love and it looks a lot like the cast of Saturday Night Live!
Kidding! But the 24-year old Roc Nation artist will be gracing the SNL studio as the musical guest this summer on May 5th. That’s the same episode that Giants quarterback, Eli Manning, will serve as host for the sketch comedy show.
SNL tweeted the good news last week writing: “You heard that right: Eli Manning and Rihanna on May 5!”
This marks Rih-Rih’s third time performing on the show. However, we do find it surprising that she isn’t hosting the show as well, given that her first feature film, “Battleship,” will be out only weeks after her appearance on SNL.
Also, we just want that to happen, duh. No offense to Eli, but its Rihanna!
If you don’t catch the live stuff, AMP will make sure to keep you in the loop on her upcoming performance.
