Nicki Minaj to Release Premier Fragrance this Fall-

Fresh off her very first No. 1 debut with her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, Nicki Minaj announced her debut fragrance is on the way and will be available at department stores later this year. This is perfect for all the Barbz that hope to smell like Nicki, not to mention another impressive addition to her Minajesty’s brand.

She teamed with Give Back Brands LLC, the same company that helped launch one of Justin Beiber’s fragrances, so she’s clearly looking to go big. As for Nicki, well she can’t wait to show off the new scent to her fans. “I am so excited about my fragrance debut, and am proud to partner with Give Back Brands for such a personal project,” said Nicki. “I have always been a huge fan of great fragrances; this is yet another extension of my creative expression and I can’t wait to share it with the world. I designed this scent and bottle with my Barbz in mind; I know they will love it!”

Nicki signed on to this project as an integral part of the final product. She will be involved in the development, marketing, advertising and even the packaging of her new fragrance.

Give Back is also stoked about their partnership with the Head Barb in Charge. “Signing Nicki Minaj was a simple decision; her talent and extensive reach present a platform with tremendous global opportunity,” added Paul West, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Give Back Brands. “This partnership will further strengthen Give Back Brands’ portfolio of fragrances, and continues to build upon our overall vision of collaborating with top artists to create world-class products that will ultimately make a difference.”

Ne-Yo Changes Album Name to ‘The R.E.D. Album’-

Moonlighting as Motown’s new Senior Vice President of A&R, Ne-Yo has also been hard at work on his fifth LP. Up until recently we knew the upcoming album as  The Cracks in Mr. Perfect. He wanted to talk about the pressure of being an artist and how people sometimes expect an impossible level of perfection from him.

But in working on the album, and realizing that he was doing exactly what he set out to, he found it difficult to continue on with the theme of the album and switched up to a more positive message. The R.E.D. Album, stands for “Realizing Every Dream,” which is exactly what Ne-Yo considers himself to be doing.  “The last couple years, I’ve taken a little bit of time to just step back and look at everything that happened in my life, everything that’s going on now and make the realization that I am absolutely doing that. I’m realizing every dream I ever had.” Adding “I’m blessed and not a lot of people can say that.”

This album will be more about celebrating the good, the bad and the ugly. “So this album is celebrating the mature dream, the immature dreams. Just, every dream that I ever had and how I am slowly but surely realizing every single one of them.

He still plans to release the album later this year. Keep looking out!
