LMFAO Silence Rumors with New Vid-
Last week the blogosphere was speculating about some bad blood in the Gordy clan. We of course mean the dynamic duo of Stefan “Redfoo” Gordy and Skyler “SkyBlu” Gordy who make up LMFAO. Reports surfacing last week said the group was feuding amongst themselves and was on the brink of a break up. Well that’s just talk. In real life LMFAO is just fine and making fun of those that think they aren’t.
The duo released a comical video that makes fun of the original New York Post article that insisted that the team was disbanding. In the clip, they fake fight over the Post while Redfoo starts chanting “everyday we tussling.” Soon they are shuffling and talking about their upcoming Sorry For Party Rocking Tour.
It’s a great way to quell the rumors and it’s really funny! Check it out for yourself!

Drake Hopes To Release New Music For Tour-
Drizzy is looking to really focus on the second leg of his Club Paradise Tour, which kicks off in Carson, Ca on May 7th. He has a specific vision for his show and has made it a point to go above and beyond for his tour, which includes the likes of Waka Flocka Flame, J. Cole and more. Billboard had a heart to heart with Heartbreak Drake. He spoke even more about his upcoming tour.
Drake has even admitted to going all out to a fault, saying that his intention was to “over-extend myself a bit from a budget and production standpoint (to) give people an absolutely stunning show from top to bottom.”
Given that the show includes other heavy hitters, Drake didn’t want it to seem like he was trying to upstage anyone. “I don’t want it to feel like a bunch of opening acts and then the headliner,” he explained. “With the stage, every act that comes out, something about the stage changes… It’s going to keep people’s attention. It’s going to be an energetic and very interesting evening for sure.”
And it seems all this bonding with tour mates has led to a good amount of collaborations, some of which will ideally be released before the beginning of the new tour. “I guess it’s safe to say now that anybody I didn’t have a song with before I have a song with now. I made sure of that. I want to go out on the tour with the most exciting artists right now and I want to make sure I have songs with all of them,” Drake said frankly.
Basically Drake just wants to get the party going, “fans are going to get some exciting new musical material that will probably end up dropping a few days before the tour, so we can play them on the tour, which was really my concept,” he cleared up. “If we start getting really into it and start vibing, maybe the last few nights it’s a collaboration show. Maybe we do all our songs on the stage together, making exciting moments for people that are not just about seeing all of us individually.”
While we wait for Drizzy to arrive in Irvine on May 8th, we hope he makes good on his word.
B.o.B. Stoked For Taylor Swift Collab-
Grand Hustle artist, Bobby Ray has quite a collab-packed setlist lined up for his newest album Strange Clouds. While the title track features the likes of Lil Wayne, you can also find a plethora of other interesting duets on the album. This includes the first track which is narrated by Academy Award winning actor, Morgan Freeman and of course track 4, called “Both of Us” which features country megastar Taylor Swift.
B.o.B. couldn’t be more excited about working with Ms. Swift. When talking to Hip-Hop-N-More, B. gushed about the experience. “When I made the song, we were just thinking who’s gonna get on it and we were just talking like if Taylor Swift gets on it, it will be amazing,” he told them. “Next thing you know, I’m performing with her in Dallas. I played the song for her and she loved it. She definitely wanted to be a part of it.”
The vibe was clearly mutual. B. explained that within moments of hearing the track Taylor was all about it. “Oh, she immediately agreed,” he said. “Like before the first verse had even dropped, she was down and ready for it.”
Luckily we all have the opportunity to check out this dope collaborations first hand. One week to go! Strange Clouds drops May 1st!
