When Carson asked M.O.Eggrolls to be a guest on Food Truck Friday, he was expecting your standard, run-of-the-mill eggroll.

Little did he know what the crew had in store!

The truck brought in their Montreal-style grub and we kid you not, they were the size of burritos!

Check out photos of M.O.Eggrolls at AMP Radio here!

Michael, Emily, and Matt brought a boatload of their finest eggrolls into the studio to show Carson what they’re all about…take a listen!

M.O.Eggrolls specializes in, yes you guessed it, eggrolls! But not just any old eggroll, for them, it’s all about Montreal-style.

How does that differ from the kind you get in a Chinese restaurant? Well, the Montreal eggroll is characterized by its open & toasted ends, crispy wrappers, and overflowing exotic fillings.

Chef and co-owner Michael grew up in Orange County, but decided to go to culinary school in NYC. That’s where he met Emily. The two fell in love with each other and since they were major foodies, they decided move back to SoCal and hop on the food truck bandwagon. They set up shop last October and so far, business is good!

M.O.Eggrolls also has the special distinction of being the first “Jewnese” truck in Los Angeles. Basically, that means their food is a fusion of both Chinese and Jewish influences, so naturally, every single item they serve is kosher and made with natural ingredients.

Make sure to check out some of their delicious side dishes too. All of us here at AMP couldn’t get enough of the Tan Tan Noodles!

We had enough food to feed a small country, so Carson felt it was only fair to share the wealth. He chose one loyal listener to receive a free office lunch.

Congratulations to today’s lucky caller!

If you didn’t win today, fear not! Carson has another truck lined up for next week, so make sure you’re listening on Friday!

To tide you over until then, why not make the trek to M.O.Eggrolls? Find out where they’re heading next by checking out their website or following them on Twitter!
