Katy Perry Teases New Video-
Katy Perry has a new movie coming out in July but don’t expect the singer to just wait around until the premiere to get back to work. In reality, Katy hasn’t slowed down much, despite her respite at Coachella. Since then she has been back on her grind and has some new goodies for all her Katy Cats!
Late Wednesday (May 2nd) Katy tweeted that she had just finished up shooting a new video. “3rd long ass day of shooting … the new music video!!!!! #workinggirl,” she wrote. Followed by, “About to shoot one of the last scenes for the music video … I have to pick a costume from the Cali Dreams Tour, which would u pick? #KP3D,” she asked her fans on the social networking site.
Though she hasn’t specified which video she’s working on, some have their suspicions that the song is not only tied to her new movie but also the reworking of her biggest album with Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection.
We are hoping for a big production from the 27-year-old because we know she has been working to complete the world of Teenage Dream for a long time now and this new movie, album release, and video seem to be the culmination of all her work.
In an interview with MTV she did mention that two tracks that she didn’t get to finish up for the first release were “Part of Me” and “Dressing Up.” Considering that “Part of Me” has had its time in the spotlight, Katy may be bringing out the big dresses for this last one!
AMP will keep you posted when the video drops!
Handmade Look in Rihanna’s “Where Have You Been Video” Took Full Work Day-
Fans of Rihanna should really appreciate the work the Roc Nation artist put it in for her latest video, “Where Have You Been.” Not only did the 24-year-old fit choreography rehearsals in so she could effectively bring out the vibe of this track but she sat in makeup for just one scene for about 8 hours. That’s one full day of work- just for the make up.
The Bajan singer’s Facebook page revealed the news to her fans by posting this message with a picture of the artist applying the make up and prosthetic to her back. “#RihFact: Rihanna’s latex prosthetic croc top in the ‘Where Have You Been’ video took 8 hours to create by hand. You can see the final look in the opening and closing scenes.”
That’s right, you can see “Croc-Rihanna” emerge from and then disappear into the murky waters of the video in the beginning and end of the clip. She goes way out there for this one and it pays off.
Look out for Rihanna’s scales in the video right here!
Nicki Minaj First Pepsi Ad Due on Monday-
As we previously reported Nicki Minaj is expanding her brand and her wallet with a new endorsement deal with Pepsi. Well it’s time to unveil the new product and ad, so keep an eye out because its official release will be this coming Monday (May 7th).
The video, entitled “Now in the Moment” features a remix of the Harajuku Barb’s hit single “Moment 4 Life” and is the debut of Pepsi’s new cola pruduct, “Pop.” Nicki’s ad is also part of the company’s current campaign, “Live for Now,” which invites patrons to “live each moment to the fullest” using a multitude of interactive media including social networking and entertainment.
A photo of Nicki rocking a spacey pink outfit, hi-tops and the new Pepsi product leaked online earlier this week. The commercial was shot earlier this year in Argentina. You can see the photo here.
If this goes down like Nicki’s deal with Nokia’s Lumia phone, then expect a spectacle.
What are you expecting from the new Nicki Minaj ad with Pepsi?
