It’s hard to believe we’re down to the final 2 episodes of The Voice, but sure enough, the time has come!
There are 4 contestants left duking it out: Juliet Simms, Chris Mann, Jermaine Paul, and Tony Lucca, but only 1 can be crowned the winner of the hit singing competition.
As host of the big show, Carson’s got the inside track on tonight’s penultimate episode and he was more than happy to share some tidbits with all of us!
The finalists will all perform at least twice tonight, once by themselves and once with their coaches and then America will vote for the big winner.
The festivities are being kept super top secret because apparently there’s some secret element involving the final four that even Carson wasn’t allowed to divulge.
Producer Angie got in a bit of trouble last week when she was naming her favorites remaining in the competition, but that didn’t stop her today from proclaiming that she’s a proud supporter of rocker chick Juliet, “Every time she opens her mouth, I love what she sings,” she shared earlier this morning.
Carson reached out to his Twitter followers to find out who they think will win and to his surprise, there was no clear victory, “I’m not saying this because I’m supposed to remain ‘Switzerland,’ but honestly, it was really split. It was very, very equal. You know, 25, 25, 25, 25 percent.”
He conducted an unscientific survey of his own and found that the younger crowd loves Juliet and Jermaine, the middle-aged crew in their 30s and 40s mainly go for Tony Lucca, and those over 50 and many of the ladies are Team Chris Mann.
“And all of them, by the way, are amazing, so really there are no winners and losers,” Carson added. “Any one of them would be an excellent representative to be The Voice season 2 winner.”
Tune into Mornings with Carson Daly tomorrow for all the behind-the-scenes interviews and reactions and don’t miss the 2-hour finale of The Voice on Tuesday. It’s a star-studded show with performances from Flo Rida, Lady Antebellum, Hall & Oates, and yes, the Justin Bieber!
