Eminem Pauses Movie Role For New Music-
We haven’t seen Eminem in a movie for about 10 years, but we sure haven’t forgotten the impact of his gritty role in 8 Mile. In November, the film turns 10, but don’t expect to see Eminem prepping for his newest role in “Southpaw.”
Eminem, born Marshall Mathers, has signed on to fulfill the role of a an up-and-coming boxer in the movie “Southpaw,” which was inspired by Em’s first movie. Unfortunately for the film, the rapper has been focusing more on music lately and will have to postpone his acting career.
“He’s focusing on his music right now, so while he’s doing that, while he’s in that space, he wanted to put this on hold for the time being,” Eminem’s rep Dennis Dennehy informed reporters.
The good news is that Eminem has new music on the way. And what’s even better is that the movie is being shot on location, so Em won’t have to go far to get into character.
“What I’m told is when the film does get made, the plan is that the bulk of it will be shot in Michigan. That was always the understanding,” said his rep, Dennehy.

B.o.B. Planning All-Rock Album-
Bobby Ray has been dabbling in rock music for some time now. In his 2009 mixtape, B.o.B. Vs. Bobby Ray, he experimented with the grungier side of music, but he is far from done with his trials.
“I had a mixtape called B.o.B vs. Bobby Ray, and half of it was more hip-hop, Eastside Decatur B.o.B and most of those tracks were produced by Fury,” B.o.B. explained about the tape. “On the other side it was more live instrumentation, eclectic, just a lot more left. I really liked that concept, and I felt like that was a classic mixtape for me.” He cites this as inspiration to make more music that speaks to both sides of his sensibilities.
Currently Bobby Ray hasn’t released a title or release date for the rock album, but he also has some other side projects he’s working on. The most notable will be a collaboration album with his boss and mentor, T.I. called The Man and The Martian, but that one’s on the back burner until T.I. releases his post-lockup album, Trouble Man.
