You know that expression “Hold onto your hats?” Well, students at a southern New Jersey high school had to take that saying quite literally when a possible funnel cloud threatened their outdoor graduation ceremony.

Students, friends, and family endured rain and hail throughout the celebration and once the funnel cloud formed, naturally everyone started freaking out.

Matthew Blanchard of Egg Harbor was there to see his sister graduate and caught the whole thing on video…take a look, it’s crazy!
