Pump up those tires and flip that kickstand up, because it’s biking season! Here are some of our favorite bike routes, trails, and paths in L.A.! Do you have a favorite spot for spinning your spokes in the city? Let us know!

The Valley

Follow the Orange Line! This longer ride begins on Victory Blvd. and loops around the Sepulveda Basin, ending up at the Orange Line Busway. A fun daytime ride through the Valley that’s equal parts scenic and urban. Plus, you can ride the bus back to the beginning if you get too tired!

North LA

This is a nice ride from Eagle Rock to Old Town Pasadena. It’s a combination of designated lanes, trails, and city streets. One of the many gorgeous summer nights coming up would be perfect for this ride. Make sure to wear reflective clothing and lights if you plan to ride in the dark!

West Side
Ballona Creek Bike Path is a beautiful stretch of biking that will take you  through Culver City down to Marina del Rey. There are plenty of shops, food, and activities to stop off at if your legs need a rest. We picture this taking ride on a hot summer day, stopping for lemonade and walking around!

Central LA

Take a ride down Exposition to the California Science Center and Natural Science Museum. How nice would it be to stop in the Rose Garden for lunch and an afternoon nap?! We can’t imagine a more perfect summer ride.

East Side

Cruise around Silverlake and Echo Park on this path. The end leads into Elysian Park, a place with trails and routes aplenty. Ride around Dodger stadium if you’re a baseball fan!
