Snoop Dogg Detained in Norway for Marijuana-
We all know Snoop likes his Mary Jane and nothing has been able to stop him. So we were not surprised when we heard the Doggfather had been briefly detained by Norwegian police for entering the country with marijuana and a large amount of cash.
Snoop was in Norway to perform at a music festival but didn’t make the gig. He was fined almost $9,000 for his infractions. Due to Norwegian laws prohibiting law enforcement from revealing suspect names, there was some confusion at first as to who was in trouble. They only said that an American artist entered the country and was sniffed out by a dog.
This was not Snoop’s first brush with the law in regards to his smoking habits. We are guessing it won’t be his last either!

Katy Perry Admits It’s Time to Take a Break-
Since erupting into the mainstream, Katy Perry‘s life has been one nonstop roller coaster. Almost two years ago she debuted her record-breaking Teenage Dream album and the cotton candy has been flowing! She’s been on tour, off tour, doing interviews, recording, doing publicity for her tour, now movie, keeping in touch with friends, family, and fans naturally. And then there was that whole divorce thing to handle. Well, the girl needs a break! Thankfully, she’s realized.
“I’m going into hiding,” she told MTV News on the night of her L.A. movie premiere, “I want to go and write songs in the woods or something.”
Considering we haven’t had a Katy-free day in close to two years, we can understand the sentiment. “I’m gonna unplug, take my hair extensions out, feel my head again. I’m gonna unplug and recharge, if that makes any sense,” she said. “I’m gonna go away. I’m sure you know it’s time for me to go the f— away.”
Though she is ready to vacay in the woods, she has promised to stick around for the world premiere of her new concert documentary “Part of Me,”which debuts on July 5th. For her, the movie is supposed to be an inspiration to her fans more than a cathartic or therapeutic experience for herself.
“I wouldn’t say it’s so therapeutic, because the movie is so well-rounded with so many different things,” Perry said. “I guess some of it is just hopefully an inspiration for people. When they see it, they are like, ‘Oh, yeah, she goes through some sh– too. I can’t dodge life’s curve balls if Katy Perry can’t dodge life’s curve balls.’ ”
Katy’s right, we can dodge life’s curve balls.
