Okay, we’ll admit it…we are loud and proud lobster lovers!

When we first found out the fine people from Cousins Maine Lobster would be feeding us today for Food Truck Friday, it ignited an all-out frenzy in the AMP Radio offices.

Everybody wanted a tasty bite and with the way the aroma wafted down the hallways, we don’t blame them!

Cousins and co-owners Jim and Sabin arrived bright and early to share their fresh Maine lobster with Carson and the rest of the giddy morning show crew:

Cousins Maine Lobster is a newbie to the food truck scene, launching this past April, but its co-owners Jim and Sabin go way, way back.

Both of them grew up in Maine and were raised on lobster. Sabin later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting, but during a heated video game battle, the cousins struck up a plan to start their own food truck.

No offense to Red Lobster, but Cousins Maine Lobster is the real deal.

In fact, it is the leading provider of the freshest Maine lobster rolls on the west coast. The lobster is caught, cooked, shipped overnight to California, and served to customers all within 24 hours. They also get the bread shipped in from Maine to replicate the authentic taste.

And going that extra mile truly does pay off. Carson called it the best lobster he’s ever tasted!

Cousins Maine Lobster specializes in the classic Maine lobster roll, but they also serve up crab rolls, shrimp rolls, and yes, lobster ice cream! They swear it’s delicious!

Now it would just be cruel not to share the wealth with you all, so Carson surprised one caller with a completely free lunch, compliments of Cousins Maine Lobster. Congratulations to today’s winner!

If you want to be a part of the Food Truck Friday fun, listen to Carson on Friday mornings. There’s a new food truck every week, so that means there are plenty more chances to win!

But if you’ve got seafood on the brain, find out where Cousins Maine Lobster is headed next by taking a look at its website or following the truck on Twitter!
