Yesterday, Will.i.am became the first pop star to premiere a song in space.
The Black Eyed Peas front man teamed up with NASA to blare his latest track from Curiosity, the rover that’s currently exploring Mars.
But of all the songs in the world to be beamed to the Red Planet, is this really the one that deserves it the most?
Carson doesn’t think so, so he and Producer Angie came up with a few songs they thought would be better suited for our Martian friends.
“Hello” – Lionel Richie
“Sexual Healing” – Marvin Gaye
There were also a couple songs that they thought NASA should not play under any circumstances whatsoever!
“Closer” – Nine Inch Nails
“Everything About You” – Ugly Kid Joe
In the end, Carson & Producer Angie agreed that there’s really only one song that’s truly appropriate…
“One Love” – Bob Marley
