Taylor Alison Swift needs no introduction.
T Swizzle has sold over 22 million albums and has had 50 million song downloads worldwide.
She’s been recognized by the music industry for her hook-laden narrative songwriting abilities with countless awards.
To the MTV VMA crowd’s delight last night, the hit-making machine performed her new breakup song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” She closed the show, which is the first time she’s been given that honor.
I think it’s pretty cool in this day and age when almost every artist out there is trying to act like they’re harder than the next with their attitudes and over-produced performances.
T Swizzle steps up to the stage and performs with a clean, almost refreshingly wholesome demeanor.
Also, another cool story that should be heard is that Taylor will pay tribute to a young cancer victim with a special song on tonight’s “Stand Up to Cancer” telethon titled “Ronan.”
“Ronan” is dedicated to a 3-year-old boy who died last year of neuroblastoma. Taylor wrote the song after reading the blog of Ronan’s mother, Maya Thompson, who is credited as a co-writer.
I understand why everyone loves Taylor…I mean, I’m a grown ass man and when “Love Story” first came out, my friends and I would all sing it at the top of our lungs at our local beach bar.
