Ne-Yo, Justin Bieber And Big Sean Rock “America’s Got Talent” Finale
The finale of America’s Got Talent got an injection of star power from the worlds of pop, R&B and hip-hop. Justin Bieber headlined a strong contingent of performers that included G.O.O.D. Music MC Big Sean and R&B veteran Ne-Yo.
Following an introduction by host Nick Cannon, Bieber—wearing a silver jacket and black leather pants—took to the stage with a small army of back-up dancers and a confident Sean for their single “As Long As You Love Me.”
It’s the latest track from the pop superstar’s near platinum album Believe. And judging by the enthusiastic screams from Bieber’s mostly female fans in the audience, witnessing the Canadian teen sensation sing, dance, and rap with his Detroit rhyme collaborator was a television win.
Meanwhile, Ne-Yo, dressed all in white, performed his hit “Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself).” The romantic dance track continues the singer-songwriter’s transition from traditional rhythm and blues to more pop-inflected material. The song is from his upcoming Motown album R.E.D., which is due out in stores November 13. Check out the performance here.
Other America’s Got Talent performances included pop punk act Green Day and the theatrical crew Blue Man Group.
While one show is wrapping, the singing competition shows are ramping up, with new debuts from X Factor and the Voice. The competition is already heating up on both stages. If you’ve missed it, check out the show recaps for X Factor here and The Voice by going here.
