Ke$ha has released another teaser video for her upcoming single “Die Young.” In one released earlier in the month she was whistling the chorus to the new single. This time she Tweeted a video of herself belting out a full a cappella version of the chorus, singing:
“I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums
Oh, what a shame that you came here with someone
While you’re here in my arms
Let’s make the most of the night ’cause we’re gonna die young
We’re gonna die young
We’re gonna die young.”
The singer followed her latest teaser clip with the release of her single album art.

From what we gather, Ke$ha is going to be reinventing herself a bit. She looks to be trading in the glitter and neon, for much more basic, and a little bit undressed, look. She talked about exploring the genre of rock in an interview with MTV, saying, ”I went on a spirit journey, came back, worked with the Flaming Lips, worked with Iggy Pop — really explored my rock roots.”
Ke$ha and her executive producer Dr. Luke confirm her new album will feature more of her voice than the album Animals did. During an interview with Rolling Stone, when asked about her ability to sing, she said,”Some people weren’t sure if I could sing. On this record, I said ‘Let’s leave the tricks to a minimum and let me wail.’”
The single “Die Young” is set for release on September 25th.
