On Friday night Booker, the AMP Radio crew, and a group of lucky winners and guests flew up to Oakland, CA to party rock our faces off to the sounds of Spookfest.  The line up featured legends in electronic dance music like Benny Benassi, Datsik, and Calvin Harris.  How was your Friday night?

With more the 20,000 people in attendance, it proved to be one of the hottest parties of the year!  The trip kicked off in AMP Radio fashion as we met our winners and guests at the Long Beach airport to hook them up with their tickets and AMP Radio gear.

Naturally, Booker was getting the party started early inside the terminal.

During the short plane ride on the Pepsi Party Plane from Los Angeles to the Bay Area, the vibe was right.  Our guests were ready for a night to remember…and boy did they get that.  After filling up the surrounding bars and restaurants with AMP Radio winners we headed down to Oracle Arena for the madness that was Spookfest.

Facing a wild crowd, the DJ’s went to work.  Benny Benassi, R3hab, and Datsik all set the tone, got the party started, and fired up the crowd.  The grand finale was Calvin Harris who delivered a stellar show full of amazing light displays, risque fire dancers, and that trademark energetic EDM music that he does best.  Crowd uproars ensued when he played his hits such as “Feel so Close”,”Let’s Go” and many more.  The atmosphere was electric and the AMP Radio crew partied well into the sunset to cap off our weekend getaway.

The energy was incredible and was a show that Booker and the AMP Radio crew wouldn’t shortly forget. After turning Oakland upside down, AMP Radio and the winners headed home exhausted.  Big thanks to  Pepsi for making all of this happen. A big thanks also goes out to Live 105 as well for putting on this amazing concert.  Lastly, thank you to our winners for making the experience a truly unforgettable one.
