Today is All Hallows’ Eve or Halloween, whichever you prefer.

Many of us will be trick or treating, attending costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns, lighting bonfires, going to haunted houses, telling scary stories, or watching horror films.

It’s such a fun holiday for all ages. There is something to do for everybody.

We dressed up on the morning show today, so my costume party is already done. Tonight, I’ll hand out candy and watch some horror movies.

So I thought for today, we’d take a look at one of the all-time classic slasher films, the original 1978 Halloween staring Jamie Lee Curtis!

Not only is this one of the most simple soundtracks for a movie, it’s also the scariest, if you ask me.

From the moment this film starts, you’re freaked out.

Halloween was made for $325 thousand dollars and grossed over $70 million worldwide, becoming one of the most profitable independent films of all time.
