Nobody should tell you who to vote for. It’s just important that you punch your opinion on that voting ballot.
It’s especially important for the younger generation to get out and get involved and make your voices heard because the world is yours.
Voting does not guarantee that your preferences will prevail, but choosing not to vote denies a person one of the key tools of having a say in a democracy. You can’t win if you don’t play.
If nothing else, you owe it to America’s forefathers who faced death for treason because they gave us the right. You owe your vote to America’s veterans who laid down their lives to protect that right. You owe your vote to yourself, because without your vote, you have no right to complain about what happens with the country.
Whatever you do on Election Day, just get involved. Even if you have no opinion, get out and exercise one of the greatest rights you have and that is the right to have a say or an opinion on what you believe in.
Now onto today’s Viral Video of the Day. Politics can sometimes be confusing, so we’re going to look at a video explaining the electoral college and how your individual vote contributes to the election process.
Also, we’ll take a look at a video for young people out there from someone I greatly admire, Henry Rollins.
Someone took his Letter to a Young American video, which inspires young people to go for theirs, and made it into a visual montage.
