Hats off to NBC. Friday’s Hurricane Sandy telethon raised $23 million for the victims of the destructive superstorm.
Some of music’s biggest names, including Christina Aguilera, Steven Tyler, Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Joel, turned out to support the East Coast in their time of need, which begs the question, why was Jimmy Fallon singing the lead part on “Under the Boardwalk?”
Producer Angie was watching the Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together telethon on Friday night and she was a little confused, considering Fallon was surrounded by some pretty amazing talent.
Don’t get us wrong, we love us some Jimmy Fallon, but it just seemed a little out of place.
Take a listen below:
- What’s your take? Should Fallon have taken a backseat to Springsteen, Tyler, and Joel? Let us know how you feel in the comments section!
