Bjӧrk “Mutual Core” For MOCAtv: Surfer Stephen’s Viral Video Of The Day
Before there was Lady Gaga’s exuberant fashion sense and Nicki Minaj’s wild style (Wild Style, which is also the title of an old B-Boy movie from 1983 that’s rad…had to take the opportunity to plug that movie), there was Bjork.
Bjork is an Icelandic singer-songwriter that’s so eclectic, she’s been able to receive praise from almost every genre of music including rock, jazz, electronic dance music, classical, and folk.
She’s been nominated for 12 GRAMMYs, an Academy Award, 2 Golden Globes, and was ranked 37th in VH1’s “100 Greatest Women in Rock and Roll.”
She’s got such a sweet voice that Rolling Stone put her at number 16 for its “100 Greatest Singers” list.
I still don’t understand most of what Bjork does because her artistic creativity is so beyond the norm.
Anyway, on to Today’s Viral Video of the Day. Bjork teamed up with the Museum of Contemporary Arts Los Angeles for her new video “Mutual Core” off her new remix album Bastards, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to introduce Bjork to some who may not know who she is.
Take a look at her new video as well as a great performance of “All Is Full of Love” in New York City.
