When Ke$ha called Carson a couple months ago, he put her on the spot, asking her to sing without the help of a band or autotune.

The pop star put her critics to rest, showing off some solid vocals during her impromptu performance.

In fact, it left us wanting more. Ke$ha must’ve heard our pleas because she just dropped a “deconstructed” version of “Die Young.”

It’s one of five stripped-down tracks appearing on her upcoming Deconstructed EP, which goes on sale December 4 when you purchase it as a bundle with her new album Warrior.
