‘The Voice’ Recap: Final 3 Chosen By America!
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a final 3!
After months of blind auditions, battle rounds, knockout rounds, playoffs, and live shows, we’re just days away from finale week on The Voice.
Tuesday night, the fate of four talented singers rested in America’s hands and one odds-on favorite didn’t survive the cut.
Missed yesterday’s episode? Don’t sweat it! Here’s Carson’s exclusive recap:
It was a homecoming of sorts Tuesday night, with season 2′s RaeLynn, Chris Mann, and Juliet Simms performing some of their new music. Carson shared some exclusive details about what we didn’t see on TV.
“You know, we had tigers originally for the Juliet Simms performance. In dress rehearsal, there were tigers. Live tigers,” he described. “But what happened during the rehearsal, once we cued the flames and pyro went off, the tigers got too agitated so the handlers were like, ‘Ix-nay on the tigers!’”
But after they all enjoyed their mini-season 2 reunion, it was time to get down to business. Once again, iTunes accurately predicted the outcome. Team Cee Lo’s Trevin Hunte was the only artist who did not rank in the top 10 and that came back to haunt him during the results show.
“I don’t know how he was once it all ended, I’m sure he had a minute to think about it and might’ve been a little emotional,” Carson told Producer Angie. “I think he really genuinely was just so happy he made it this far. He’s such a good guy and he changed so much during the show.”
Do you have a favorite? When next week rolls around, it would probably be a good idea to buy their single. They’ll each be performing three times, so there’s plenty of music to choose from!
Plus, breaking news! The Voice is turning up the star power for its finale week. Carson announced this morning that Rihanna, The Killers, Bruno Mars, and Kelly Clarkson will all be performing on the show next week.
SAVED: Cassadee Pope, Terry McDermott, Nicholas David
ELIMINATED: Trevin Hunte
