Ladies and gentlemen, Christmas is just five days away. Yes, we said FIVE DAYS.

If you’re anything like us, you’re still scrambling to get your shopping done. But can you blame us? Some people are so difficult to shop for!

That’s where Gifts.com comes in. It’s the #1 online gift recommendation site that can give you advice that’s specialized to the specific person you’re buying for.

Carson is still searching for a gift for his good buddy Jimmy Kimmel, so he called up Gifts.com Editor in Chief Dana Holmes for some unique ideas.

For Jimmy, Dana recommended something seriously manly for The Man Show creator.

“The grilling stuff is huge this year. There’s a really fun gift called the Man Crate, which I don’t know if you’ve heard about, but it’s basically a crate of dude stuff that comes in a box with a crow bar so you can open it…They have a grilling-specific one. They have a bunch of different categories that are super man-friendly.”

The crate includes spice rubs, hickory chips, barbecue sauce…basically everything you need for a legit dude feast!

Some of the hottest gifts this year are gadget companions. Makes sense, considering everyone already owns a smart phone or a tablet. Now, you can buy them some awesome accessories to go along with it!

“It’s basically a toy you put your phone or your iPad into that makes the app that you download more fun to use. So there’s a fishing reel you put your phone into and it feels like you’re really fishing. And there’s a steering wheel, but my favorite is the pinball machine where you put your iPad in there and it has a real ball launcher and the real flippers and it’s so addicting.”

You’re probably wondering how Gifts.com can read the minds of everyone on your Christmas list. Well, it’s all thanks to their spot-on personality quiz.

“You can answer a bunch of easy questions and then we’ll show you unique gifts that match their personality, perfectly tailored to them and where you can get those gifts, so it’s super easy,” Dana said.

We’re rapidly approaching the 25th, so it’s time to start considering some last-minute ideas, but you don’t have to just give people boring and generic gift cards. Dana shared some great ideas.

Of-the-month clubs are a really great gift because it’s the gift that keeps on giving and you can email it, so it’s super easy to get it out to whoever you need to get it to.”

Another great option for procrastinators is an “experience gift.”

“There are tons of experiences that are amazing, from driving a race car to chocolate tasting to, you know, a hot air balloon ride, whatever you want they’re all out there,” Dana explained.

Gifts.com features an interactive map where you can pick the city of the person you’re buying for and see what experiences are available there. All you have to do is email the certificate or print it out for them and voila! Instantly, you’re the most creative gift-buyer on the planet!

Teens are notoriously the most difficult to buy for, but Dana offered some advice on how to get started.

“I think this is the best opportunity to really reach out to your lifelines and call people who know these kids and see what they’re into. Find out what they’re really using, what they talk about a lot so you can get something that they’re really going to like because teens are the hardest to shop for.”

“One trend that we’re seeing across the board for teens this year is headphone earmuffs. Headphones have been a huge trend for the last couple years for teens in all these crazy colors and shapes and patterns, but now they come in earmuffs and they’re super stylish and they’re just really cool. Every brand from snowboard companies to UGGs are making them.”

Have a hipster in your life? Dana has just the thing. It’s an old school phone handset with coil and all that plugs right into your cell phone!

“They’re about $30-35. They’re called the Pop Phones. It looks like an old, traditional ’80s phone and they come in a million colors.”
