THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE Awards went down Wednesday night from the Nokia Theater L.A. Live and we were ON hand at the Red Carpet.  Countless Celebrities; Robert Downey Jr., Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, The Wanted, Sandra Bullock, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lawrence, I mean you name it they were there all there because of YOU the FANS.  That’s what’s great about The People’s Choice Awards this show happens because of YOUR votes.  Now before I get to my exclusive interview with the award winning Taylor Swift I caught up with a few other familiar faces.

Rising star Katherine Newton of “Paranormal Activity 4” rocked the red carpet with her very gold Chanel Creepers.   Do I have any idea what Chanel Creepers are??? Um no, but they did look expensive.

Not only is Katherine a diehard fan of the franchise but when she auditioned for the role she had no idea it was for PA4.  Once she got the role she did point that she had to wear the same nail polish for over a year for continuity.  I hope it was a good shade.

Her timing on the red carpet couldn’t be more perfect because this weekend the well, pretty much PARANORMAL spoof “A Haunted House” hits theaters.  I think she’s a fan, “I can’t wait to see it. I know Ashley I can’t wait to see it. It’s gonna be so funny,” said Katherine.

Ok, random fact “The People’s Choice Award “weights 10 pounds.  Did you know the human head weighs 8 pounds???  Sorry Jerry Maguire moment.  I tried playing football with it…. the Award not a head, but security wasn’t having it.

Hrach Titizian “HOMELAND”

So stoked that Hrach Titizian made his way down the red carpet.  He’s on one of my favorite shows, “Homeland.”  Though they lost to “True Blood” I still hold the show dear in my heart and will continue to watch, it’s addictive.  I was curious to know what his thoughts were after the after the success of the first episode and if he expected that, “No I didn’t.  I actually don’t think anyone did so it was a surprise for everyone.  You know that first episode aired and the ratings were really good and then the second was better.  It just grew and grew and it was just really cool to be involved with that ya know from the beginning and just watch that all happen right in front of me.”

Homeland_435

Homeland is definitely a dramatic show, but was it really like that on set? Is it fun and laid back or do you just stay focused, “ I think it’s mostly the first that you mentioned.  It’s more fun, I don’t think anyone was too much ya know the stakes are high and we gotta do this.  I’m sure that probably happens in the writer’s rooms a little bit, but no everyone on the set is so easy going from the director to the crew and actors,” said Hrach.

On being such an edge of your seat cliffhanger kind of show I wanted to know what he gets asked the most and he said it’s about what’s happening on Season 3.  I took a vow not to say anything….or did I.  No, seriously he really doesn’t know anything yet.  The filming doesn’t tentatively start until June for Season 3.   I can’t wait!!!

Up next is Seamus Dever and Juliana Dever stars of ABC’s “Castle.”  This is their 2nd year in a row to be nominated and when they found out Seamus had this to say, “Well amazed, we won last year for best TV Crime Drama and so to be nominated twice it shows that our fans are really loyal and have great connections to the internet to be able to vote a lot.”  He’s definitely right since CASTLE won for the second year in a row!

Another random note; Seamus loves “Black Dynamite” on Adult Swim and Juliana is somewhat embarrassed she watches “Say Yes To The Dress.” What do YOU secretly watch???

And now for my EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW with the recently single, award winning, most talked about woman on the web……TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!
