If you’ve watched the news at all within in the past week, then you know the flu is wreaking havoc over most of the country.

A record number of people are suffering from the aches and fever this year and there’s no end in sight for the time being.

With little children at home, both Carson and Producer Angie have gotten their shots to stave off this year’s strain, so imagine Carson’s surprise when he found out that Surfer Stephen had not done the same!

To give you some perspective, the AMP Radio studio is no larger than about two or three cubicles. Worse yet, we have a ceiling so all those germs just incubate inside of there!

Basically if one person gets sick, we all get sick!

Carson gave Surfer Stephen a full-on scolding this morning…take a listen!

Stephen has insurance and Carson even gave him some extra cash to get it done, but Stephen kept coming up with excuses!

“I don’t think you guys should be able to tell me what I need to inject into my body!” Stephen protested.

“You’re the walking virus!” Carson said. “You’re the one that’s susceptible to picking up a flu germ because it can live for two days on a desk…And you could give it to us before you become symptomatic!”

“I will never get the flu. I won’t get it. I’ve never had the flu shot before so I just don’t feel like I need to.” Famous last words, Surfer Stephen. Famous. Last. Words.

“But if it means that much to you, I will go today and put it in my body,” he relented.

In fact, if Stephen doesn’t go through with it, Carson is threatening to send him home from work with no pay!

  • Will Surfer Stephen give in and get the vaccine? Stay tuned to find out!
