It finally happened! After years of anticipation Matt Damon was finally a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Well, perhaps we should rephrase that. Matt Damon wasn’t a guest, instead, he took the whole show hostage for a night of hilarity and A-list celebrity appearances.

Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon, Demi Moore, Ben Affleck, Robin Williams, Sarah Silverman all celebrated with Damon in person.

Damon made a few changes to the late night show, most notably the theme song.

But that just wasn’t enough, he also replaced sidekick Guillermo with Andy Garcia and band leader Cleto with Sheryl Crow!

Poor Jimmy! At least he can always count on Ben Affleck!

Reese Witherspoon stopped by after a quick trip to BevMo.

You would think Jimmy’s own parents would have his back, but they along with Jennifer Lopez, Sally Field, John Krasinski, Robert De Niro, Oprah Winfrey, made a video message wishing Damon good luck!
