Booker’s Bachelor Recap: Tierra Survives Hypothermia & The Rose Ceremony!

From Booker

Booker is the most die-hard Bachelor fan we know, so we can imagine he was pretty pumped when he found out there would be two episodes airing this week.

He knows all of you out there count on his morning show recaps, so he stayed up extra late even though he’s filling in for Carson this week….what a gentleman he is!

Why did ABC up the ante this week with a second 2-hour episode. We’re not really sure!

“I think to thin the herd,” Booker explained. “I think they just need to move the show along.”

It doesn’t really matter why, at least to Booker, because the reality show gave him exactly what he’s been asking for…hot girls in teeny, tiny bikinis!

“The big blockhead took the girls to Canada and he got them in bikinis because they did the polar plunge! Very nice work, Sean!”

Yes, Sean and the ladies stripped down to jump into freezing cold water. Sounds totally romantic, right? Naturally, Tierra-ble, now also known as Tierra-ist, used the opportunity to score some camera time.

“Of course, she’s the one who comes down with hypothermia last night. Yeah, Sean didn’t, eight other girls were fine. She’s a big drama queen,” Booker pointed out. “Of course she’s faking it! She needs attention and she’s figured it out. Every episode, she hurts herself somehow and she somehow gets a rose out of it, but it didn’t work for her last night.”

No, she didn’t get kicked off last night. (That would just be wishful thinking.) Sean made Tierra wait to hear her fate until the rose ceremony instead of giving her one of the safe roses during the group date.

Tuesday’s episode also brought us one of the saddest moments of the season thus far.

“Some really upsetting news for one-armed girl fans. The sweetest girl on the show, her name is Sarah. She did get the axe last night.”

Sean thought it would be cruel to keep her around when he doesn’t share a romantic connection, but that didn’t stop us from getting all teary-eyed!

Surfer Stephen was back there like, ‘This is really sad!’” Booker said. “She was so sweet and she was a nice girl, but she was kind of like wallpaper. She was kind of a little bit boring.”

When it came time for the rose ceremony, Sean had to cut two more candidates.

“This is just a little side note for women. Don’t make it about another girl! This is why the girls keep leaving. They keep talking about this other girl, the little Tierra, the nasty girl. Just make it about yourself and you’ll stay on the show!”

Selma, the Iraqi who vowed she wouldn’t kiss Sean on national television (except she did last night…oops!) and Daniella were sent home.

Stay tuned next week for yet another Booker Bachelor breakdown and follow him on Twitter @ChrisBooker for his spot-on live tweets during the show!
