LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles judge has asked the probation department Wednesday to prepare a report in wake of a motion filed by prosecutors stating R&B singer Chris Brown failed to complete court-ordered community labor.
Brown failed to provide “credible, competent or verifiable evidence” that he completed the required 180 days of community labor, District Attorney Jackie Lacey said in a statement Tuesday.
Brown, who has been on probation since June 2009, was ordered to complete the labor as a part of a five-year probationary sentence after he pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend, singer Rihanna.
