Award season is in full swing and with it comes many awards shows filled with self-congratulatory celebrities gushing over each other.

I mean really, how many different award shows do we need? The Oscars, Golden Globes, GRAMMYs, Emmys, Spirit Awards, and the Tonys. I don’t even know what half of those are for!

Who’s wearing what on the red carpets, what free swag rich celebrities are getting, or my favorite, what after-party are you going to?

I get that they’re easy to produce, the networks want ratings, and the fans want to see and support their favorite actor or musician, but there’s too many.

Leave it to Zach Galifianakis to save the day with his internet show “Between Two Ferns.”
