It’s like a scene straight out of Armageddon!

A meteor crashed over the skies of central Russia this morning, injuring nearly 1,000 people and damaging thousands of buildings.

Car alarms went off, windows shattered, and cell phone service was interrupted in response to the powerful shock wave.

There are no reports of any deaths yet, but more than 100 people were admitted to local hospitals.

Officials estimate the meteor weighed about 10 tons, entered Earth’s atmosphere with a speed of at least 33,000 mph, and exploded roughly 18-32 feet above ground.

Check out footage of the explosion…but you may want to turn down your volume because it’s pretty crazy!
