Carson, a born and raised SoCal boy, is a proud alum of Santa Monica High School.

Today, he’s celebrating his alma mater for standing strong against hate.

An organization that’s known for picketing soldiers’ and children’s funerals, we’re not going to dignify it by publishing its name, decided to picket his old stomping grounds on Monday.

The LA Times explained the group was there to protest against “brutish teachers & hateful parents” who “have broken the moral compass of this generation.”

When students got word that this was happening, they decided to peacefully counter-protest the movement in a stunning display of love and acceptance.

Eventually, the group of six or so demonstrators decided to pack up and go home, much to the delight of the student body.
