If you’re one of those people who gave up on Saturday Night Live years ago, then you missed out this weekend. Not only was comedian Kevin Hart one of the funniest hosts to grace the show this season, musical guest Macklemore and Ryan Lewis set the bar so high that Justin Timberlake might be a little worried to follow next week.
The hip hop duo started off with their second hand store anthem, “Thrift Shop.” Speaking of which, Macklemore’s Kanye West meets Captain Crunch jacket was perfect for the performance.
The second song of the night was the lesser known “Can’t Hold Us,” which sounded great being backed up with his horn section.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will be popping tags Saturday, March 30th at Paid Dues Festival in San Bernardino.
