Well folks, it’s Booker’s final recap of The Bachelor, season 17…can you believe it?

His candid heart-to-hearts with Carson every Tuesday morning have made us laugh, cry, and feel a tad uncomfortable from time to time, but it’s all been worth the wait!

After weeks of wooing, a romantic trip to Thailand, and a meeting with some pretty skeptical parents, it came time for Sean to decide between practical girl Lindsay and cute girl Catherine.

“Holy anticlimactic! 17 seasons of The Bachelor, 3 hours of horrible television,” Booker exclaimed. “Let me sum it up for the folks like you who hate The Bachelor. If the city of Oakland got into a fight with the city of Sacramento, who would actually care? You know what I mean? The girls, neither one of them are LA or San Francisco, if you know what I mean.”

But Booker isn’t placing the blame solely on the ladies.

“Sean is the idiot here. He’s the one who voted off all the hot, interesting girls, okay?”

After introducing both Lindsay and Catherine to his family, Sean was still feeling conflicted about who to spend the rest of his life with.

“When Sean can’t decide, you know what he does?” Booker asked Carson. “He takes off his clothes! He takes off his clothes and he walks around in a towel the size of a napkin.”

So after some quality time with his abs, Sean finally came to a decision.

“Everybody wants to know. When the car door opens last night, the altar’s laid out in front of us, which little tattooed foot steps out? The girl who showed up to the show in a wedding gown a little drunk walks to the altar and these beautiful words were uttered to her by Sean.”

“Lindsay, this is the toughest thing I’ve ever had to do,” Sean told the jilted bachelorette. “I want to give you my heart so bad, but my heart’s leading me somewhere else. I’ve been searching for clarity and I think I’ve finally gotten it. Now, I have to say goodbye to you.”

Lindsay was understandably crushed by the news and sobbed in the limo, but Booker knows it’s just a matter of time until she finds another fish in the sea.

“She’s 24 years old! Let’s calm down, everybody!”

Once Lindsay was sent on her not-so-merry way, it was time for the moment we’ve all been waiting for…

“Here’s the real reason why people watch,” Booker said. “The proposal to Catherine, the cute, boring girl who wins it all.”

That’s true love for you, folks! Later, during the After The Final Rose special, Sean and Catherine revealed they’re still in love and planning to get married in front of their friends, family, and ABC reality show cameras ASAP.

Even Booker couldn’t help but be excited for the happy couple.

“Sean, our bachelor, here’s a guy I poked fun at pretty good. Every week, I pretty much gave it to him, but I’ve got to be honest. Excellent guy, good representative, decent human being, a very boring bachelor, but a nice guy, so I wish the kids good luck.”

How will Booker cope now that we’re officially entering Bachelor withdrawal? ABC announced that Desiree, one of Sean’s castoffs, will be the next Bachelorette. Her season will start airing this summer, which is only just a few short months away!
